Huntington's Own Dr. Marjorie Ann Guisao-Wallace
Dr. Marjorie Anne Guisao-Wallace, seventh grade science teacher at Huntington Middle, will exhibit one of art pieces in the Light-of-the-Ancestor Exhibition from February 13-March 6, 2015 in the Pepco Edison Place Gallery, 702 Eighth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001, Between G &H. The Gallery is opened to the public Tuesday through Friday 12 noon to 4:00 pm. Admission is free.

Huntington Does It Again!
On Friday, January 9 the Tidewater McDonald’s Association, Inc. announced the recipients of the inaugural Balanced, Active Lifestyle Grant awards program. The Balanced, Active Lifestyle Grant awards program was created to assist local public schools in developing educational programs that support physical fitness and health education for students. Seven $1,000 Balanced, Active Lifestyle Grants were awarded to local public middle schools across Hampton Roads. Huntington is one of the seven schools receiving the grant! Outstanding!!
Huntington Vikings Receive New Grant!
Huntington Middle School is the recipient of the $500.00 grant sponsored by Exxon Mobile Educational Allience Program and Pit Stop Convenience Stores of Hapmton, Virginia. The funds will be used for mathematics and science students. We are excited for the support from these companies and we love their theory that "helping young minds now helps us later"!
